Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) submitted a submission on December 31, 2013, Volume 1 began in December 2013 or 13 years after the establishment of the Advanced Indonesian Health Sciences College (STIKIM). Making the Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal)  initiated by STIKIM leaders to encourage research activities and scientific publications from the STIKIM academic community. Other than that,Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) has become a forum for scientific publications for internal and external parties such as lecturers, students, and outside researchers regarding research in the health sector, especially in the field of midwifery.Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) developed by having a print media permit with the ISSN print number 2252-4010. Editorial , Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) agree to continue the volume and number of publications as a forum for research publications in the field of midwifery.

 

Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) re-submitted the ISSN online on August 22, 2015 and then submitted it and received the ISSN Number 2354-8169. While Open Journal System (OJS) di STIKIM mulai instalasi pada Desember 2017. Editorial Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) started implementing OJS since the end of 2017 on volume 7 No. 4. December 2017, editorial staff Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) continuously improve journal management, OJS and publishing to accredited SINTA and accredited international journals.Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal)  made a revision given by the SINTA assessor related to improvements in journal management on volume 08 number 01, 2018 so that we re-uploaded the issue on that volume without reducing the quality of the contents of the journal. On publishing Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal)  several times experienced delays from the publication schedule in the journal due to the lack of author in 1 issue and the length of revision from the author to the journal editorial. Most reviewers in evaluating articles in 2018 still gave an evaluation on the manuscript, which did not directly assess the OJS application. In volume 9 no 4 of 2019 the articles were included in the evaluation process by the Editorial Team and the Review Team. Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Midwifery Scientific Journal) will be published on the 4th Sunday of December 2019.
